If the Soldier qualifies. It's called the "C" Zone Bonus (10-14 active federal service) However, Soldiers are paid up until their 16th year of active federal service. Example #1: A SSG has been in for 12 years and deployed to Iraq and never received a "C" Zone bonus. He may qualify and will be paid up to his 16th year. Example #2: A SSG has been in for more than 14 years and deployed to Iraq and never received a "C" Zone bonus. Does not qualify because you can only been between 10-14 years active federal service to qualify.

Reserve (TPU) side it works this way: If your mandatory removal date is more than 6 years away, you'd get a 6 year reenlistment bonus. If it's more than 3 but less than 6, you get a 3 year bonus. TPU soldiers are not authorized a reenlistment bonus once they reach 16 years TIS.

Hello, I was just wondering if a SFC with 16YRS of service or more would be eligible for a reenlistment bonus as well. Thanks!
