I am getting promoted to SSG September 1st. I have a contractual ETS of 20 NOV 08, I hit my B Zone 2 August 2007, My bonus requirement date is 21 September 2005 - 20 September 2008. My unit is to deploy late this year but we are not yet on orders physically. I am wanting to know what my options are. My PEBD is 20 FEB 98 and my BASD is 02 AUG 01. I am a 96B PMOS(25Q SMOS/35J 3rd MOS). Do you believe that there is going to be another Enhanced bonus for 96B30 prior to 15 SEP 07? Or is it just best to Re-enlist for the 15,000 regular re-enlistment bonus now before it goes away too? Also, are there any possibilities of re-enlisting for 2 years (this max's my bonus of 3.5 x 2850 x 2). Thank you for your assistance.

Depending on your DEROS, you'll be offered

A new Enhanced Bonus came out yesterday (effective today) which didn't reduce the bonuses for the B Zone.

The minimum reenlistment period for a SRB is 3 years. If you just crossed your 6 year mark last month, you'll need to reenlist for a minimum of 4 years. Why? Your new ETS (when you reenlist) must cross the 10-year mark (C Zone).
