Ok as I understand it, if you signed a contract before the 1st of Jan, '08, you ARE NOT affected. Well, I reenlisted on the 20th of DEC. It's now Jan 5th, and I haven't received any money. I'm due to PCS in two weeks, and the money was going to be a necessary aspect of relocating my family into new housing. So, I'm wondering if my bonus was put on hold as well, or have I just haven't received it yet? Others I know have gotten theirs within a week. It's been 16 days for me. Is there any way of checking?? Thanks.
same thing is happening to me, i reenlisted on the 21 of dec and i havent received anything either, ive heard of people getting there bonuses in 3 days, i was told the hold up is due to the holidays, i guess just patience is the key, i went to my retention nco, and went to finance with no good answers

Have you applied for DLA? Thats pretty much free money you can use to help with the PCS, you are entitled to at least once per fiscal year for a PCS (cant remember if its one or two per fiscal year).
