I am a SFC with 12 years of service, my ETS date is 10 AUG 2009 and my MOS is 11B. Do I qualify for a bonus once I am in within 24 months 10 Aug? I am currently stationed at Ft Benning with no PCS orders at this time. Somebody help?!

As long as you have never received a "C" zone bonus, Yes you will qualify provided you are otherwise qualified if you know what I mean. Since your ETS is in 2009 you will fall under MILPER MESSAGE 07-141. Paragraph 6C of that message mentions the rules about SFC's.

SSG Ortiz thanks for clearing that up for me! I wasnt sure which milper message applied and which ones didnt, that'a why I was asking for someoine who knew. especially what MILPER MESSAGE 07-141. Paragraph 6C meant.
