I got to tell you; I'm tired of seeing no bonuses for 19K's. First our promotion points are jacking up and now this. But I could reclass to a 19D, get promoted off the back, and get a fat bonus. Sorry I'm just stating my opinion, but I'm just tired of it.

The Army seriously has a bunch of retards working at USAREC. Why are they going to give a soldier a 15k bonus to re-class to 14E and spend the money to train them, when they only offer a 14E 10.5k to STAY 14E, and NOT have to pay to train them? The Enlistment/Retention systems are all kinds of Jacked up.

Hey AR, what are the different zone classes? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I don't understand the A Zone B Zone thing..

Maybe I'm just having a ditzy day..

Zones are based on your active service time.

A Zone = between 17 months and 6 years active federal service
B Zone = between 6 and 10 years active federal service
C Zone = between 10 and 14 years active federal service

Wow, you have NO IDEA what you are talking about!

What does USAREC have to do with retention?

The bonus amounts are the same whether you reenlist in that MOS or for that MOS.

Yeah, I don't normally do that, but if you JUST join the community and start spewing garbage and backing that garbage up with crap ... it gets very irritating.

If this guy had an actual valid point and stated the basic information correctly, it would have been an entirely different response.

i am a 14s avenger crew member stationed at ft lewis wa. i will be deplpoying to iraq in jan 2010 and want to reenlist my window open well at least what my erb says in the bonus enlist dt says 20100701 so is that when i am elagable to reup? i will have 9 years in around that time and well be in my charlie window how can i find out how much i will get?

This is an old post, and next time start a post on your own or one similar to what your issue is. It will be impossible to tell you how much you will get considering that your window does not open until at least next year. You need to look at your ETS date, and your window is minus 2 yrs from that plus one day.
