I completed the requirements for the German Proficiency Badge, but have yet to receive my award. I've been searching for the picture of it but to no avail. Also, I understand that you can only wear one foreign award at a time--but cannot find it in 670-1. Any help would, well, help.

I don't have the picture, but here is the Reg out of AR 670-1.

29–19. Wear of foreign badges

a. Personnel may not wear more than one foreign badge at a time.

c. The German Marksmanship Award (Schuetzenschnur) is authorized for wear only by enlisted personnel. Officers
may accept, but may not wear the Schuetzenschnur. If authorized, personnel wear the award on the right side of the
uniform coat, with the upper portion attached under the center of the shoulder loop, and the bottom portion attached
under the lapel to a button mounted specifically for wear of this award

The German Armed Forces Efficiency badge is authorized. Type in Leistungsabzeichen if it is what I think you are inquiring about.

I am super desperate! I was awarded the Schutzensnur (Bronze) in 2005 but I misplaced the chord with the plastic emblem while moving! I need it very very soon, can someone please help?

Good luck on finding a replacement. The only way I was able to get mine replaced was to find a German liason and show them my orders.

The best bet is to find out if your post has a liason and then go through them. Trust me, I looked on Ebay, Googled it, tried clothing sales, everything.

www.supertrooper.com has them.

Not very happy today, missed cut-off by 4 points. Last month, I missed it by 7 points.
Oh well, keep doing lame correspondence courses and hope for the best for September.

"To conquer the Earth with an army of flying monkeys" is not an ideal goal to give to the career counselor.

You missed it last month by 7 points? now by 4? So you did not add points for a whole month while you knew you missed it by so close? I bet you said "oh i missed it by 7 points, they will drop again and I'll make it"...my Soldier missed it by as much as you last month, what did she do? She added about 60 points and made cut off with no problem.

Lead by Example!!!
