what is everyone else going to be wearing that was with you? What did your Chain of Command say you were authorized? any orders? guidance? policy?

I need to check the reg..but I know at least for pay purposes, if you're there for even a day of that month, you're counted as being there the whole month. I would assume everyone wears two but......I wonder...

From AR 670-1 Chapter 28-28: Overseas Service Bars
quote:
(12) One overseas service bar is authorized for each 6-month period of Federal service as a member of a U.S. Service participating in Operation Enduring Freedom, the CENTCOM area of operations, or under the control of the Combatant Commander, CENTCOM, from 19 September 2001 to a date to be determined. The months of arrival to, and departure from the CENTCOM area of operations are counted as whole months.
(13) One overseas service bar is authorized for each 6–month period of Federal service as a member of a U.S. Service participating in Operation Iraqi Freedom, the CENTCOM area of operations, or under the control of the Combatant Commander, CENTCOM, from 19 March 2003 to a date to be determined. The months of arrival to, and departure from the CENTCOM area of operations are counted as whole months.
You are authorized two Overseas Service Bars because the last month you left theater (only 15 days in) actually counted as a whole month.
And in the future AR 670-1 is your best friend. It should've been your first resort to finding out this answer. Be resourceful.

ok thats been answered, thanks. But now sorry for the confusion but I only have 11 months and 4 days, I did not reach the other month to count as a whole month. But I got a total of 26 months of combat my first deployment 3 months on Theatre my second: 11 months and my third: 12 months adding it up to= 26 months I noticed it says EACH 6 months period NOT consecutive 6 months so am I entitle to 4 combat stripes???? Am I rigth or wrong???
So if Kuwait (other than Buehring) Qatar and all those other resort places don't warrant combat pay why should they get combat stripes. How is a year in Arifjan (forgive the spelling) any different than a year in Korea or Kosovo?

Ok I figured it out, I can only wear 3 overseas stripes even though I have 26 total combat months, as the regulation states each 6 months period of deployment of either OIF or OEF but nothing is said of combined both together.
Coach, you are authorized 4 stripes. All of your time is considered deployed by the country codes listed. You have earned and are authorized 4 by regulation!

Little bit of searching and found the answer to my question . I'll post it here for future reference:
Service as a member of a U.S. Armed Service for periods of less than 6 months duration, which otherwise meets the requirements for the award of overseas service bars, may be combined by adding the number of months to determine creditable service toward the total number of overseas service bars authorized for the following: World War II, Korea, Vietnam, The Dominican Republic, Laos, Cambodia, Lebanon, Operation Earnest Will, Grenada, Operation Just Cause, Operation Desert Storm, El Salvador, Somalia, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Are these things combat stripes or overseas service stripes? Would I get two for my year long tour in Korea? I served a three year enlistment that included the tour in Korea and a deployment to Iraq. I have the two stripes from Iraq. After the three years I ETS'd and and nine months later I re-entered the Army. My ERB was essentially wiped clean. I didn't have any previous duty stations on there and the Korea and Iraq tours were no longer annotated. I provided orders to both locations when I was updating my ERB but the tours still weren't added. Does anybody know what's going on?
And on the sixth day, God created the Field Artillery...
