im doing research on soldiers who have been awarded such medals as the bronze/silver star, navy cross,etc.etc. only during afghanistan and ira conflict though. once i find the names i can work on contacting some of these people to get thier stories, anyone know how i could find a list?

There is a book out there titled "The Navy Cross" by James E. Wise and Scott Baron--it is about Iraq/Afghanistan Sailors awarded this.

Bronze Star Recipients? Good luck on that one-Too often, in my opinion, most officers and Sr. NCO's walk out of theatre with one-regardless of their actions/duties.
