So if anyone read the armytimes article today the army officially announced the Dress Blue's will now be the official Class A's and B's. They mentioned the "combat service identification badge." So is that just a pin on of the divisional patch then!?? Also looks like the Service Stripes are changing to how the greens are!?? I know its new news, and nothing much on the web about it.
In the message announcing the uniform, there isn't any guidance on what the combat service identification badge looks like. But this monday the Army is launching http://www.army.mil/asu as a reference for the new uniform; I'm sure we'll see info there.

There is a history on the reason for the different colors on the Dress Blues--read about it and you may have a different perspective. Too many Soldiers don't seem to know this.

I know about the history of the blue uniform dating all the way back to the revolution. The blue uniforms from the Civil War and revolution looked good, these do not.
