Retirement with reserve time

I am contemplating dropping my papers next year. I have 20 years active and 6 years reserve time. Just wondering if anyone knows how the reserve time will be calculated? I'm trying to estimate my percentage. Can I assume the years listed as active on my statement of retirement points is what will determine my percentage? TIA.

I know this is an old post and the OP probably won't return but when you came back in on active duty, your prior reserve time was calculated to get your new BASD to set that clock for your 20 year AD retirement.

The beauty is that your 50 percent is calculated on your last three years of service which your basic pay is much higher than your current grade at 20 years.
