4 Star General retirement pay

I'm working on a paper to compare retirement pay between a recently retired police captain in San Jose CA who is now being payed $221,488 a year.
I would like to compare him with 4 star General H. Norman Schwarzkopf's retirement pay.
Can any one give me at least a ballpark figure what the General's Army retirement pay might be?

I haven't looked at any regs, but I've always been told that Generals retirement pay is 100% of whatever their base pay was when they retired and increases with any pay increases that occur.

google military paycharts- then figure the retirement is based off how many yearsnthey actually served- 20years is 50% of the basepay, then add a percentage every year after that. (google military retirement pay...)

Thank you people, I appreciate your help .......... $120.000 a year seams about right...... I'm sure I don't have to tell you guys what a great American Hero the General is and so to, all we American Military Lifers with over 20 years of service. But what made my blood boil was reading the (link below) where the average cop and firemen in San Jose CA retire with over $100.000 a year and catch this, these people are now bitching because the Mayor is proposing a revised Retirement Reform ballot measure. You have to read this to believe it.
Thanks again .Frank, USN ret.

As a warrant, I will probably start at a 38K a year.

Read that article and see what a 4-star is making today.
