Everyone seems to tell me that a curtailment must travel up the chain regardless if it is denied or not. Well my CO denied it and wont pass it up unless I show him the reg to back it up. I CANT FIND ANYTHING! All the regs state you can request a curtailment for this....but I need the reg which states what a curtailment actually is and the process of submitting one. Help me help my soldier please.

Without knowing the reason you are requesting a curtailment I would suggest you look on USAPA under the 600 series to find the answer. That would be a great start.
