I'm currently starting my G2G ADO paperwork. My squadron and troop commander want me to write my letter of recommendations for myself and then they will sign. I was wondering if there is anyone here who has an example for me to use. I'm having some problems coming up with a opening paragraph. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SSG,

I may have some copies of my letter of recommendations from when I applied for the Green to Gold program if you still need them. Send me an e-mail at kpaul@uakron.edu..

Just curious, have you settled on which school you are going to? If not consider the University of Akron ROTC program. They bent over backwards to help me with my green to gold application. If you don't have the letter from the Professor of Military Science for your green to gold packet, I can also help you with that.

You can find out more information about the University of Akron's green to gold opportunties on AKO at this link:

https://www.us.army.mil/suite/page/549677

or you can visit the University of Akron ROTC website at: http://armyrotc.com/edu/akron/index.htm

Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

V/r,
LT Kunnas
