Question about pay...i have 6 1/2 years of guard service. I understand that this is not considered active duty, therefore making me ineligible for O1-E pay. However, will I get paid as an 0-1 with less than 2 years of service, or as an 0-1 with 6+ years of service?? Thanks!

Pay is based off you Pay Entry Base Date (PEBD) ... this is calculated by all your military service; active or reserve.

So if you have over 6 years of service (guard), you'll be paid over 6 years.
