SPC Hayes,
I am currently in ROTC on a G2G. When I went through the process I read that you can only recieve the scholarship somewhere you can get discharged from. Can you get a discharge in Italy? I was under the impression you had to PCS back to the states first. Might want to look into that, it's def in the G2G regulation though. Secondly, getting the paperwork from the school is the hardest part. If you meet the requirements and get accepted by your school's PMS (Professor of Military Scienece), you WILL get accepted to G2G. I was also BN and BDE soldier of the quarter and that helped a lot when it was time to get my packet submitted to BN.
Good luck, if you have any other questions, feel free to email me: jcart304@gmail.com
