Hello all,
I have decided to drop my Green to Gold Scholarship packet and have a few questions. I am 3 years in and currently deployed. I have been accepted to the college of my choice and essentially just waiting for Admissions to send my early out letter to the Prof of MS to get my letter from him. In regards to all of the paperwork that needs to be signed by the school; Does it need to be original copies in my packet or has anyone else submitted copies of the letters and forms?
Another thing I am worried about is getting discharged in time. I am submitting my packet as early as possible and it should be in the mail no later than march 1. With me getting it in sooner will the make their decision sooner or will I still have to wait until after the Apr 1 deadline to get any word back? I am pretty sure it will not be a problem ETSing from Germany as I have known people already that have done this but I have heard back in a prior post that someone might have issues in either Italy or Korea from ETS'ing. Has anyone previously ETS'ed from Germany specifically to go into the Green to Gold program.
Regarding the personal recommendation of 'why' I want a commission. Does anyone recommend using just the space given or should I over kill and add onto it?
If anyone can answer any of these questions I would greatly appreciate it.
