It applies to all branches but both spouses must take care of there respective paper work. Depending on your MOS it cant be extremely hard. I've only seen a few people get it to work.

Actually it does not! You answered your own question! It is called the Married ARMY Couple Program. Although each branch has their version of the program, they will not guarantee that you will be stationed together. Even the Army will not guarantee that you will be stationed together but will try to keep you within 50 miles of each other. Notice I said "Try". When they cannot keep you within 50 miles, they do pay you separation pay which is a measly $100, unless that has gone up, but I seriously doubt it.
Be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.
