How did you get in the Army as a single parent? I assume this happened after you joined, right? You were married, joined, got divorced, hopefully, if not thats a fraudalent enlistment, and not a good thing for you.

As a single parent you need a family care plan, and you should know by now that the army is not going to accomodate you just b/c you want to spend time with your family, other Soldiers want to spend time with their families too, but if we accomodated everyone, who would go overseas and fight?

If you want to be with your kids and not deploy anymore, get out under the family care plan chapter, if you feel this is a way to provide for your family, stay in but dont complaint when you have to be away from your family.
