If you are deployed or if you have a family member or friend deployed you may be interested in the free countdown page from http://www.CountdownHomepage.com

You register, edit the page by adding a photo, adding in the expected date of return, date of departure and some other little stuff and it makes a homepage that you can set as your default homepage in your browser that counts down the days until the family member or friend comes home.

The countdown homepage are free, ad free and a nice easy way to help watch the date get closer. I guess it would work for deployments, training for an extended period of time, and even a relocation to another part of the world.

I figured I would post it here since we do have it listed on the front page of this site as a feature site.

If you are deployed, you could probably set the page up and send the link back to family. Then they would be able to see the days remaining until you get back home.

We thought it was a pretty cool idea. Just passing it along for those that it may help.
