I have a P2 profile and its not enough for a medical discharge. However when I went to WLC the CSM there denied my profile and would not let me in. This is even with the doctor saying that I can do all military related activities but will have problems with pt.
Since I can't get promoted without WLC and my injury is not surver enough for a medical, what the hell am I to do. I can't stay E5 forever.
I would say that you are going to have to go speak with your CSM and get them involved. See if you can find the current policy for schools and find out exactly what it says about profiles. I know you can not attend with a temporary, but a permanent should not keep you out. I went with a P2 to both WLC and BNCOC, so there may be something that is being interpeted wrongly.

It might not be the profile in general but something stated in the profile, my friend had a permanent profile that said he could not lift more than (i cant remember exact numbers) 40lbs, well in order to attend WLC he needed to lift 50lbs...so he got kicked back fixed his profile and went back, now he is a SGT(P).

Can someone with a Permanent profile PM me I have a few questions. I have been on a Temp profile since July for the same reason. The problem can't really be fixed and they send me from one specialist to another. However I don't think the problem is career or life threating and I can do anything job related except for running long distances.
How do you get the profile or do they just keep giving you temp profiles until you see every doctor who has anything to do with neurology, heart, and vascular specialties.
Oh yeah my email is hillsidehustla2003@yahoo.com

Ok turns out it was something that was in the profile, I can't ruck more than 3 miles and they need me to be able to do a 5 miler at least once. So I'll have to get it changed, attended then go back to my old one, as rucking with a messed up back is not a good idea on a long run.
