Did you har about PLDC changing to "Warrior Leaders Course"?

What is the best way for jr leaders to prepare for a big changes in the NCOES mainframe such as WLC? And who governs the timeline,ie the length of the classes Army-wide?

I do believe, that the post that is supporting the WLC will govern the time of the school, wether it be 2 or 4 weeks long.

I am not 100% sure on this, but I think it is the MACOM (i.e. TRADOC, FORSCOM, etc.) that governs the length of the course and they all have to teach the same POI's.

I think that it is governed by the NCOA because here on Fort Lewis its 1 month long and at Fort Stewart it is only 2 weeks long.

The lenth of all NCOES courses is set by TRADOC. In time of war NCOES courses have the flexibility to be shortened but the core hours can not be altered. That usually translates to long days in order to fit everything in. A shortened NCOES course allows soldiers to get the school they need and returns them back to the unit sooner.
