I have a question that hopefully someone on here might help with. My husband was badly burned while on active duty in Iraq. He was pinned e-5 in July and so should be eligible for e-6 this Dec. He has not done WLC or PLDC and now due to his burns will be unable to ever return to the field. So now he faces getting out as a Sgt or staying in and always being a Sgt. Is there any way to get promoted to e-6 with a waiver for the field portion of WLC? He seems to be getting punished for being so injured that he cannot return to the field when he has 11yrs of blemish free service. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
