Does anyone know the policy of ACU's at WLC as opposed to BDU's?

Which WLC are yo going to? I would call the number in the CQ handbook, or better yet, have your Training section someone in your chain fo command do it if yo need clarification on that issue.

If you mention which WLC, someone here may have gone through recently and can possibly help you.

Does your NCO acadamy ther have a website? You may want to check it out. The sites usually have the packing lists and updates on policies for each new class.

in october a soldier told me someone in his class was forced to by bdus when he showed up with only ACUs. However this was almost 5 months ago, and i dont know it as a fact. just heresey.

Yeah, about that guy who had to buy BDU's, its true cause one of my NCO's here was in that class. but he said that he asked the SGL and they said that the commidant was planning on adding the ACU's to the packing list in the near future, so i was wondering if it had changed yet.

I hope the IG told that commandant to "wake up and get with the program". Also, there are ways to get a soldier reembursed when dumb things like that happen. That is if the soldier's supervisor will press it.

Yes you can wear ACUs but you need to have one pair of BDUs for Graduation Date. SGL

Thanks! I just got the new packing list and you can now wear ACU's but like you said, 1 pair of BDU's with Black boots for graduation.
