Hello, I went to WLC in Grafenwoehr last November. I was in Charlie company. It is the hardest company of the three, but the SGLs are good. If you get into Charlie try to get into first platoon. The class is 4 weeks long, but I believe they are changing it to 3 weeks because we complained it was too long. The Commandant should send you all the information regarding the class or your schools NCO should provide you with the packing list. The packing list I had have been change recently. You get graded for your Garrison as well as tactical leadership, so when you get placed in a leadership position don't let your squad or anyone make you a push over. There were three class room test, but I think they are changing it to one cumulative test, it's open book though and very easy. You have a land navigation course to complete in 3 hours also. You have barracks and inranks inspection everyday. You have to run everywhere (to the chow hall and after chow too). For yor PT test ensure you go all the way down for your push ups. Also ensure you put on the vest they give to you for the run correctly because they will consider you a run failure if your number is not displayed correctly. If your CIF does not issue anything on your packing list ensure you have a memorandum signed by your battalion commander or you will receive a derrogatory counseling and you would not be able to compete for honors. I hope this helps. If you have any questions post another

Ok I have a question on WLC in Germany. I am roughly half done with my master wich is online. The info packet I received said they have a computer lab avaiable. I realy don't want to stop in the middle of a class unless I have to. As long as I have access to a computer online and a bit of free time I can keep up with my classes. So my question is this doable at WLC.

WLC in graf is a month long right now, at least the one from Feb 26 to March 26 is. I assume that's the one you're going to. I'm going to this class too. Looks like Spice put down some excellent advice, especially about the two pistol belts thing. I already have a second one, I'll just have to stop by clothing and sales and snag another canteen set.
Have you checked your AKO recently? ATRRS ought to have sent you some kind of notification there... I haven't checked it myself (was notifed about WLC yesterday), but they ought to have full details about what youll need and so on.
And of course, like Spice said, contacting your schools NCO or training clerk is always a good idea to get all the forms you'll need to fill out.
Apparently they don't do any shooting down there, which is a stinker. I've seen the WLC classes filing into chow with weapons all the time, so I thought I'd get a chance to qual there. Fraid not.

Graf is the FIRST and OLDEST PLDC/WLC.. The biggest lesson learned is how to get along with other NCOs. Just treat everyone like you want to be treated and remember Some Soldiers are childish, no matter what rank they are.
