I recently PCS to my current unit. I went to my CC and was told I must be in the unit for 12 months before I can re-up. Can someone tell me where I can find the reg. for that?

You can re-up anytime when you are in your 24 month window.

However, say you want to re-up for OCONUS station of choice you will not be able to PCS until you hit your 12 month mark at your current post. Basically you owe your current unit atleast 12 months of your services before you can move. Does that sense?

My meeting with my CC never got to the enlistment options stage. I expected to have to put in my time with this unit. My goal was to get the cash option to pay some bills. I got the feeling that I was turned away quickly for some other reason. Thanks for the reply Hunter5.
