I am regular army. My MOS is 68W, SPC,and my ETS is Dec 08. This is my first time reenlisting. I have called and left voice messages and emails with my branch managers, but have not received a response yet. I am trying to reenlist for the new AfriCom in Stuttgart, Germany. My retention NCO say they can reenlist me for Germany just not any specific unit.

Actually, you can reenlist for Europe, not Germany and never a specific unit.
AFRICOM is most likely a Special/Nominative Assignment and your Career Counselor and Reenlistment NCO most likely does not have access to this information.
If you cannot get in touch with your Assignment Manager, use your NCO Support Channel to get you an answer.
