I have an interesting situation at hand. I was Medically seperated from the US Army in December of 2005 for a lower back injury sustained in the motor pool on fort Bragg (unit withheld) since recieving my injury I have spent the last 2 and a half years rehabilitating the injury and will be recieving medical clearance from my VA doctor to return to active duty. But I have recieved some discouraging news since I made my initial attempt to re-enlist. I have been told that someone with a re-enlistment code of "3" on their DD-214 will not be eligible to recieve a waiver to rejoin active or reserve duty. I have also been notified that although I have certifications in both Broadcast engineering and Audio sound technology I will still have a difficult time entering this MOS (46R) can anyone confirm or deny this information that I recieved from sources outside the recruiting field. I know most of you are thinking that I should speak to a recruiter but I would like to hear what this forum has to say on the issue first. Thanks for your time and patience.

Well, I am in your same situation and am currently going through the waiver process to get in, funny enough, as a 13M. I have a Re-Entry Code 3 and am just working the process. If you want it bad enough, it will happen, just be patient cause it does take time. I am waiting to hear back currently for my situation.
