I am currently stationed at Fort Bragg, and I reenlisted for Fort Eustis, I am getting married to another SM and I was just curious if there is a time limit on waiving a reenlistment option?
There is no time limit to waive your option just as long as you have not yet reported. Keep in mind, once you waive your option, you fully understand that you will be assigned IAW the needs of the Army, you could stay at Bragg or proceed to another duty stations to include Eustis.

Thank you I was told the same thing by branch, but according to my career counselor i was told that there is a time limit, besides my career counselor is there anyone else that can help me with this dilemma?
I have only 6 days, but I have been pushing this issue for about a month now, so if my career counselor won't mess with it, your tellin me i'm pretty much screwed?
not really for a long time, I have been trying to get this issue taken care of for like i said the past month, and i just keep getting the run around. I'm not getting married til next year but my fiance is station here at bragg and if you know bragg at all, we get deployed alot, at least if i am here it would be easier for us to have a wedding like we want, and for the job that she does she works some crazy hours so coordinating would be hard to come by and also at that, i don't know about you but i would like to be stationed with my significant other, i know there are things we can do to be stationed together, but at the same time my career counselor should be able to help me, i know that career counselor's have a quota to maintain but mine already has my reenlistment in the bag i just don't see the reason to not help me out on this. I don't mean to gripe to you but i have gotten the same answer from more than one source thats why i don't understand why she said that it's too late waive my reenlistment option.
