i thought i could reenlist october 1st when the new friscal year starts and now people are telling me that i can only reenlist 6 months before my contract is over. NEED HELP (im in afghanistan)

From what I am tracking you can reenlist 24 months before the end of your contract. But maybe I'm retarded and I'm missing something that came out. But from my knowledge its 24 months, whether your deployed or not.

Maybe there was an issue (overstrength) in your MOS where you needed to wait for Oct1, but you can reenlist BETWEEN 2yrs and 90days left on your contract.
