Back in December 2008, I signed Extension paperwork for my assignment to take me to my RCP in Aug 2010. I recieved a copy of my Oath of Extension/Reenlistment, with a control number, and all the other bells and whistles. I was serving in an assignment that IS fenced until you are released for time to PCS,etc. I came down on orders after my extension paperwork was done. These orders came down for June 2009. Obviously, they were deleted. 2 weeks ago, I get a call from my MILPO, that I am on assignment. I tell them, not based on my Extension paperwork. They then tell say in rather peculiar terms, what paperwork. I scan my OMPF online, and it isn't there. Luckily (I think), I have a copy of the extension paperwork. They want to PCS me to another different assignment from the one for June, this time for Jan 2010, but my RCP/ETS are literally Aug/Sep 2010. What options do I have? There was talk of signing a DCSS, but that is not an option. What will or could happen. Any info would be immensly appreciated.

If your RCP is Aug/Sep 2010 and your servicing Career Counselor finds that you cannot reenlist to meet the SRR (Service Remaining Requirement), a DCSS will not be used for your case (AR 614-280, Chap. 4-11). You will ETS at RCP.

Will I still have to PCS in January 2010?, or will these orders also be deleted? The response time to this hubbub(Career Counselor/HRC) has been a little weird.
