Im an E-5 and would like to go to Ft. Lewis. I also would like to become a ranger. But Can I get both in a single Reenlistment?

Please post other pertinent info. We aren't Mother Cleo.

SGT, 11b, 4 years in. 1 year till ets date. Want to go to 2nd Ranger Batt. Can I get Airborne/RIP and FT Lewis assignment in a reenlistment?

that website has all of the info you could possibly need on ranger recruiting. Im pretty sure that you cant re enlist for rip, and ft. lewis, and from what my friends have said after rip they send you wherever you are needed.

Ranger is a school/ASI you can reenlist for it as long as other prequals are met. 6 months before ETS is when CC's realize how serious you are about your goals, and may be more inclined to assist. A CC can correct me if I am wrong on this.

Realize that you are asking for 3 different, yet slightly associated options in ONE re-up. Pick ONE, and stick to your guns on it.
