ok, so i have determined that the only way i will re-enlist is if i can get recruiting and when i talked to my re-up guy he told me to drop my packet.. my question is this.. i ets in apr 2010 and i know i have to have like 3 years left tis before they will accept my packet.. so, could i submit it and if i get picked re-up then and also, i am married to an e-5 who is going to re-enlist for change of duty station to ft. campbell...how hard would it be for me to get a recruiting assignment around there?
any help would be great...

If you apply and get accepted for recruiting duty, your military spouse must apply and get accepted as well.

Q: I know my spouse must also apply and get accepted if I am enrolled in the Married Army Couples Program, but what if I disenroll so I can apply for this program?

A: When you are married to another service member, both of your must volunteer, be qualified and be accepted, regardless of whether or not you are enrolled in the MACP. You may request to waive your MACP. You are agreeing to be separated from your family for the duration of your tour. Some times, as soon as you waive your MACP, your spouse becomes eligible for worldwide assignment.

Nothing else peaks your interest?

Why did you ONLY want to be a recruiter?

Yeah, you 92F's are getting hit hard, my friend was about to re-up for Hawaii and got put on orders days before his re-up, so now he is pending assignment.

Is this the norm? I mean do you work every day from 0500 or earlier to midnight or you stay until 2000 usually and sometimes until 0200?
