What MOS were you thinking about?

I am not trying to step on toes but I did want to say this. EOD is a voluntary job. All you have to do is pull your statement and you no longer will be an EOD tech. I don't know what that opens up for you. ArmyReenlistment is the expert in that department.

This is all you have to do?

I'm not an expert in the field of EOD (just retentoin), but I'm pretty confident that there is more to it than this.

To become an EOD tech, you have to sign a volunteer statement for EOD duties. If a tech should ever wish to stop performing the duties, they can put in a 4187 stating they no longer want to perform EOD duties. If they still have time on their enlistment/reenlistment contract, they will be reclassed needs of the Army unless they have a prior MOS.
