Hello,
I was a reserve soldier that reenlisted in Dec 2006. I found out out in February 2007 that the unit that I was assigned to was being deactivated. At that time I decided to go AGR for career progression. In May of 2007 I joined the AGR program. In February 2008 I recieved a letter stating they were going to recoupe my bonus because of going AGR. I then found out that I had to be in a TPU status for 6 months in order to keep the bonus. The bonus addendum with this information apparently came out a month before I reenlisted. It was not a part of my original contract. If I go by my original contract I am still eligible for my bonus. I submitted all that information but yet they still insist on taking my bonus. Does anyone have information that will help me out? Any information will be much appreciated. Thank you.
