I heard RUMINT that re-enlisting for duty station of choice is no longer an option, is this true? Or did things change after Fiscal Year 2010 came around?

your second link is for SRB(bonus money). It's not the only re-enlistment options "after 19 Oct" as stated. The only thing the second message outdated was SELECTIVE REENLISTMENT BONUS (SRB) -ENHANCED PROGRAM. Line ALPHA. Not all re up options. It does not outdate your first one stated re-up(Between 1-19 Oct).
