Ok, I went to my Career Counselor to reenlist, got all the paperwork done and everything. Found a duty station with date, she went to get my commander to sign it, my commander says no, that she is going to do a bar to reenlist. I have only one negative counseling. Her reason she says for doing it, is that I havent finished none of the paperwork stuff on time. I need some legal advice about what I can do to overturn that. She has personal problems with me and I dont think that it is right that she does that. I am the supply sgt, I havent done any wrong, nothing, but to hear this it kills me inside to know that I dont know what to do about it.

She's going to have a hard time initiating a bar to reenlistment for something like not being quick enough on your reenlistment paperwork.

Go to IG and then JAG, start the process of straightening this Captain up.

Yes, I gotta do something. I know I'm not perfect at everything, but you got people reenlisting that fails PT Test, that has no discipline. But its the fact she dont like me and it has got personal. All I am trying to do is get away from her so I can at least have a fair chance at another shot. But she says no all the way round. I am going tomorrow to talk to my BN Commander first thing, no PT straight to her office. Then after that I will proceed to Legal and so on.

Better use your chain of command and let them know what you are doing or you WILL face repercussions for going around them SGT.

If your NCO support channel doesn't seem to give a shit about this Captain overstepping her power, then go around them.

Watch your language. I think your last comment was border line disrespectful. This is a public forum, and you should be aware that non Soldiers read these posts. Be professional in your approach in responding. The Bar to Reenlistment will be initiated by the CDR if need be. You can appeal the Bar if it is signed by the authorizing authority. Have the Career Counselor explain the process to you. All hope is not loss just do everything you need to do, but stay positive and dont have a negative attitude.
