I ETS in less than a month. I have been flagged for overweight. I just recieved a form stating that my flag has been lifted due to meeting the standards yet I have not met the standards. Now according to my ERB I have no flag but under Reenl Elig/Prohib I have 9Z which means unable to re-enlist due to weight.

If I am not flagged for weight do they have to change the 9Z to a 10 and allow me to re-enlist? Can I have it changed to a 10 so that if I do decided t re-enlist later I wont need a waiver? Should I just leave it as is?

As of right now I know I dont want to re-enlist right now. I want to take some time off and get my weight under control and then maybe down the road re-enlist. I just want to make sure that if and when I do decide to re-enlist I make it as easy as possible for me. I dont want to have to go through the waiver process if I dont have to.

Um, you ETS is a month, right? "Down the road" really isn't an option for you ... it make be "down the driveway" or "parking lot".
