I understand that he must initiate, I mean I have had to do it for people as well. But the fact is that he made it PERFECTLY clear they were going to push it, and then spun everything into one negative counseling statement to make me sound like I was the worst soldier in the world. I got overpayed and said something about it like 3 times and then they took it back, and in that counseling statement he put something along the lines of "Attempting to defraud the government". Like I said, its a stretch. But I was just looking for the wait time until I could come back in....

I have been a UPL for a bit more than 4 years, and in all the training I have received I have never heard that a FDTL would randomly test for steroids. In fact, the ASAP reg says that commanders must suspect use before requesting steroids be included on the test, and if I recall, you would have to give an additional sample (I could be wrong on that last bit).

I think there is more here than meets the eye.

Your command is not mean. They know that your paperwork has to go through 7 levels of JAG hell before it goes through. You stepped on your junk, and now you want to cry that your leadership is out to get you. If you had met the standard, you would not be in the situation.
