OK-So, I have a really long question, but here is the gist of it...My husband's 2 year window opened up on July 18th...we wanted Huachuca AZ, but the career councelor that we were scheduled to meet with didn't show up to the office, and by the time the requisition was sent up, the slot was filled...ok...so our 2nd choice was Hood...everything was sent up, and Hood is a go, but now my husband was just told that he needs a valid PT card (which his old unit should have, since his new unit didn't give him a diagnostic when he got there in February of 2008). Anyway, he took his PT test today, and hurt his knee, so failed the run portion, hence he has to do the whole PT test over again. Since he has a valid PT card from September 9, 2007 (That PT test was done in Iraq) is it still considered a valid PT card for reenlistment or is there a limit on how old the PT card can be?? Also, he was on no-run profile for Bronchitis that was issued in 23 June for 3 weeks. Does the 2 day rule still apply for recovery, and when would the Temporary Recovery profile expire? And can he re-enlist with a temp. recovery profile??
Your husband must have passed his most recent record APFT within nine months of reenlistment. According to your information, he is not eligible to reenlist.
