I heard from a barracks lawyer that all options opened again on 14 Aug. He said he was told if he wanted to reclass, he could get a school reservation and lock in the bonus amount on current SRB message. Th caveat was that he could not take his oath and sign the contract until 01 October. Is this accurate?\

My Commander told me the same thing yesterday. He said that all of the FY 2010 reenlisting options are now available and we can lock them in but just wait until Oct. 1 to actually sign the contract.
