All the following pertain to 35M HUMINT

I am a deployed SSG who would like to go to DLI for pashto/dari or something useful in Afghanistan. My DLAB score meets the requirements but I wasn't sure if I could get to DLI with just a 4187 or if I am able to reenlist to go there. I would like a language that will be useful in our other major combat zone, in which I am going to try to go to after DLI (I am in my zone and I know the exact language I will get is unknown.)

Additionally, our BDE said they had met their quota and were not going to reenlist any MOSs the whole year we are deployed. This didnt sound right to me, I have never heard of such a thing. Any info would be helpful.

Additionally, I have an E4 promotable, with plenty of experience who would like to be stationed near FT Meade. Any information on strategic slots there or in the eastern U.S would be helpful.

You should call our branch manager. Pashto is probably a good bet, but it is rough. I'm the first 35M going through the class according to the CSM here, and the average pass rate from start to finish is less than 50%, but it'll be worth it if you make it through.
