If someone could help clarify some information on my ERB for me that would be great.
I'm currently a specialist with an ETS date of 10 May 2013. I'm going to the SGT promotion board on the 5th of October. I've been spending some time going over my ERB to check for errors and such and I recently noticed that my Reenlistment Eligibility code went from 10 to 9G.
I looked it up and it says
"9G Grade Exceeds total years active federal service for pay grade"
Im no expert but to me that sounds like I've hit RCP for E-4, I've been in just over 6 years and as far as I know the RCP For SPC/CPL (non promotable) is 8 years. So needless to say this confuses me. I asked my PSG and he said he's going to look into it with the Career Counselor but I don't want to wait until the last second to rememedy this issue.
well it couldve had been changed when you were a PFC since the RCP for that rank changed to 5 yrs. Depending when you got promoted to SPC someone never chahged it back to a ten. Regardless if nothing else is wrong a Career Counselor should changed it with no problem
