ok heres the situation


I renlisted to reclass option 3 and I already have my school date and im stationed in germany and i want to go off to school and reclass and come back to my same regiment just another squadron with my new job. At first I was told that I couldnt do it then I contacted my branch manger( well the one I will have after I reclass) and he said that I had to talk to my retention nco and he had to do a hot line request for me to basically have tdy and return. I talked to him and he found it after first telling me that it wasnt possible and he said that my regiment would have to pay for it and sent me to s-3 and they told me to do a ipcot. Know one seems to really know what to do about my situation I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction

Since you're requesting TDY and return, your unit must have a need for this MOS/rank (verified through G-1) and your unit must pay for the TDY (approval by the G-3).

Your Career Counselor must submit the request to HRC once all of the above has been verified/approved.
