I'm a firefighter and would like to know the best way to get stationed in Japan. whats the best mos,contracy options,reclassing, etc. Thank you

Honestly, Japan is one of the hardest assignments to get. A large number of the population is within the Signal Corps. It also depends on whether you're trying to get to Okinawa or mainland Japan. MOS' vary depending on location. 25B is the large part of the signal community out there which is also one of the most technical and sought after MOS' in the Army.

A buddy and I graduated with went to japan and we are 91-echos/68-echos. And 25-bravo is something I am looking at, so that's all I got to say

Recently there have been a massive influx of Combat vets coming in Japan...so maybe if you do a little time in the dirt then ask for it...one never knows.

Like SPCA said, I just came down on orders when I was in the desert. I know alot of people that reenlisted for it though.

i had a buddy 31B back at my old unit he had to reenlist to go japan.
