You are an NCO who has vowed to meet, exceed and teach the standards to our soldiers. Yet, you cannot pass a tape test? After failing your tape test prior to BNCOC, you should have been flagged for overweight. This alone would have removed you from attendance from BNCOC. This would make Dreamstalker's job so much easier, instead of doing extra paper work for NCOs who do not meet basic Army standards! Sierra711, I must disagree with you on a few things though. It is not the schools NCO's job to administer an APFT or Tape Test. This is the responsibility of the supervisor or leader of that soldier. Your CSM may have you manage it for him, but that is not the way I operate. I also have been taped forever since joining the military, and have always made tape. I do not like being taped, but I lift weights, and am 15 lbs above my screening weight. I admire you for your ambition to take that whole process out of your career, so you do not need to be taped any longer.
