Hello, I'm an E-4 Airborne Infantryman currently with 4-25th. I am about to pcs to the Aviation COE down at Fort Rucker. I am wondering if anyone out there could shed some
light on what I possibly could be doing as an infantryman in an aviation unit. Thanks.

honor guard i guess would be a possibility. who knows i never knew anyone that was infantry get assigned to rucker.

Yes I have my orders. Reporting to USA Aviation COE UIC W0U9AA. I'm excited about the move either way, since I plan on pursuing a career as a WO. Just wish I knew what I was heading into.

I looked at the TDA for that UIC and found 7 slots that say this: INSTR AIDE E4 11B1O.

One slot in CO B 1 145TH and six slots in CO D 1 145TH.

I couldn't find any other information. Good luck.

Thanks for that info. I did a lot of googling for Instr aide for 1-145th. Came up with pretty much nothing.

whats up bro, im pcsing to rucker same UIC and stuff. Are you already at Rucker,, and if so what do they have you doing.

Infantry + Aviation = a good time and good training. I wish you young studs the best.

There should be enough to keep you busy and caught up with your peers as a Specialist there. Rucker has an NCO Academy,the UAS course and aSERE-C is run down there also for the pilots I believe.

Ft. Benning is also a hop and a skip away to get you more proficient in Airborne Operations such as Air Assault and Pathfinder. We use the Fort Rucker Pilots all the time for training where I work here on Benning.

Nah I am a 94D. It's not all softball. lol Unit sports are huge on Ft. Rucker though. Ultimate Frisbee, Flag Football, Softball. Not much else to do in the surrounding area. I report in Sep.

That is so so true, the Ft. Rucker team came here to Ft. Benning and dominated some games during the softball tourney.

94D Huh? Im a Fox. When did you go through Gordon? I know we are a small group so we might know each other.

Got there in Nov 200 and Graduated in Sep 2001
