i recently lost about 90 pounds and was wandering if getting surgery to tighten up the skin around my chest would be a good idea before MEPS....would it DQ me ?....or would it be best after MEPS.

I'd personally wait until after MEPS so the Army takes the bill. You'll receive a lot of convalescent leave in return as well.

The Army pays for that surgergy? Didnt know that, thats cool.

If you have enough loose skin then the Army will pay for it, you have to go through a few hoops, but they will foot the bill if it is a severe amount.

I heard they will do tatoo removal too...
