Hey Tex, on the 9 credits, I don't know. Your recruiter can ask the 'Ed Spec' (Education Specialist) at his Battalion HQ. That's a Captain whose job it is to know everything there is to know about Army education programs, and I would assume college first would fall into that. If he doesn't handle college first, there's someone in Battalion Operations (right down the hall) who is responsible for managing the battalion's college first program (this is the person that your recruiter sends your enrollment verifications to). If they don't know the answer right off, they have points of contact way up at the top who they can ask. My gut tells me there must be some clause to cover circumstances like yours but you'll definitely want to check it out. Good luck.

The fiscal year runs from Oct. 1 to the end of the following September.
