I have updated my FAQ 35M page. I would love the help of anyone that could think of some more questions to add to the FAQ...even if you have no interest in the MOS, pretend you do and see if you can think of anything that you would want answered.

Also, if AR or recruiters want to chime in with what they would like to see I would gladly add or take suggestions.

Website is in my signature or www.ej20.us/35M

Alternatively, I am proud to say you can Google "35M MOS" and my page comes up fourth (not too shabby).

35M,

Great page, I never very looked into this MOS until I saw your page. I'm looking for a new challenge that would be a bit more marketable than 19D. Unforutely I don't qualyify for the BEAR program since the Army is only taking SSG at this time. I only got a few more months left in the Army guess I need to make a decision soon.

Yes I am, I hit my 4 year mark next month. I just realized that I could re-up for Option 3 if I really wanted to do this. Is that what you were getting at?

That's exactly what I'm getting at. I was in your exact shoes in September 2002. Made the decision to forgo the bonus in lieu of a great job with a highly marketable skill.

Were you a NCO before you reclassed? If so what is the transition like being in a leadership position fresh out of AIT? I have your email address, mind if I hit you up with a few more questions on AKO?

If a Soldier doesn't fully qualify for the MOS, who should the Soldier contact for a waiver? Maybe posting the propnent's contact information?

Good page and very informative.

I certainly do not mind whatsoever.

As far as your first question, I was an NCO when I reclassed. I'm not going to lie...it was not an easy transition because you are expected to know an awful lot of stuff and run teams, and detention facilities etc. It was very rewarding though and if you put your mind to it, it isn't as difficult as it seems at first.

If you have combat experience as I did your soldiers will value your experience and leadership should you provide it.

Ok will do. I'll get OCMI (office of the chief MI) up there next update.

Updated the page with your suggestion AR, added a few more questions, and re-instated my hit counter.
