If a Soldier were to sign a multi-million dollar contract with a record label, would he/she be forced out of the military, or would they be bound by their military obligation until they served their time or would they be able to buy out there contract?

I don't know the exact reg, but I know that the Army gives early discharges to Soldiers who come into huge amounts of money (i.e. lottery, inheritance, etc..).

They know a Soldier with millions of dollars in the bank has no incentive to listen to orders or even show up to formations.

If I won the lottery I would be AWOL. Leave my crap and go
